Christy Baker Jenkins

Raised in Athens, Christy is the oldest sibling of a large family with deep ties to the University of Georgia and the Athens community. With over 20 years of experience in real estate and property management, she is well versed in the ever-changing dynamics of the market. AGA Properties is Christy’s second venture as principal of a real estate and property management company. She formerly founded and operated an Athens real estate brokerage, later selling her interest and founding AGA.

Christy’s values center around integrity, excellence, innovation and collaboration. These are the values on which she founded AGA. She believes in a deep commitment to family, work and community. Her resume includes a long list of community involvement and professional achievements, including the Georgia Association of Realtors’ Good Neighbor Award, Founding Board Member of the Athens Farmers Market and Lead Athens Alumni, as well as numerous recognitions for her service and achievements as a top-selling agent by the Athens Association of Realtors. Christy’s experience working in both property management and real estate affords her clients and team a unique advantage. She is expertly equipped to evaluate the potential of a real estate investment from the perspective of a homeowner or investor. She enjoys assisting clients with all aspects of purchasing, holding and selling real estate, and is equally at ease with homeowners seeking to buy a family home and investors looking to expand or divest a well-established real estate portfolio.

Deaundra Dowdy

As a native of Athens, GA, Deaundra gained the majority of her work experience in the healthcare industry, while simultaneously earning a degree in information technology from Southern New Hampshire University. As the Office Administrator & Bookkeeper of AGA Properties, she approaches all aspects of her job with a positive, hard-working attitude, and is a master of organization. In addition to maintaining office efficiency, Deaundra promotes collaboration between AGA Properties and vendors providing the best service possible.

Emma O'Neal

From Flowery Branch, GA, Emma is a proud graduate of the University of Georgia with a degree in English. As our property manager, Emma is focused on providing exceptional service, ensuring smooth property operations, and maintaining a high standard of care for tenants and property owners alike. Known for excellent communication skills and an exceptional eye for detail, Emma is committed to helping enhance the value and integrity of every property under AGA’s care.

UGA Interns

Michael Metz

Michael Metz serves as the accountant for AGA. He is a Sophomore accounting major at UGA from Odenton, Maryland. Working closely with the property managers, owners and tenants, Michael is responsible for recording of rental income, paying bills and disbursements of owner funds. Following graduation, he plans to complete his Masters in Accounting at UGA. In his free time he likes socializing with his friends, watching sports, going to concerts and playing golf.

Ben Hatcher

Ben Hatcher is an Albany, Georgia native who is a student at the University of Georgia. He studies business management and is a property manager intern with us here at AGA. He loves Georgia football and places a high value on family and friends. He is thrilled about the chance to be working with AGA Properties for the first time.

Lauren Coppage

Lauren is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Advertising at the University of Georgia, along with a minor in Communication Studies and a certificate in Entrepreneurship. Upon completion of her studies in December of 2025, Lauren intends to begin her professional career in the property management and real estate sector here in Athens, Georgia. She is enthusiastic about being a part of AGA Properties, where she has expanded her industry knowledge and contributed to the AGA team. Outside of her academic and professional pursuits, Lauren enjoys staying active at Burn Boot Camp and spending time with friends.

Anna Beth Baker

Anna Beth is a property management intern with AGA. She is a student at UGA and is pursuing a degree in Public Relations along with a minor in Business. She is thankful for the opportunity to build client relationships and advance her communication skills. Anna Beth values kindness, community and servant leadership. In her free time, she loves running, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
